# Valarth: know before you buy

Valarth reads the filings of Indian listed companies, flags what the headlines miss, and answers your questions in plain language, so every investor can make an informed decision.

**Status:** pre-launch. Early access is planned for December 2026, starting with the AI Screener. [Join the waitlist](https://valarth.in/#waitlist).

A fund manager has analysts, data terminals and someone who reads every annual report to the last footnote. Most investors get a stock tip, forwarded four times. Valarth gives you the desk.

Valarth has no stock to push and earns nothing from what you buy. It shows what a company is worth, how that number was reached and what today's price is assuming, so you can tell a fair price from a pumped one. No pump and dump, no tips meant to move a price, no buy calls with no reasons.

## One desk. Six instruments.

| Instrument | What it does |
|---|---|
| AI Screener | Ask for stocks in plain words. See every filter it used and every company it dropped. |
| Before the Bell | A short edition every morning on what moved overnight, why, and whether it touches you. |
| Forensic scan | Checks the accounts for the warning signs that analysts look for and headlines skip. |
| Portfolio X-ray | Every broker and fund in one view, with your real return and a review of what needs attention. |
| Screener | 196 filters and ready-made screens for the days you want precision. |
| Valuation reports & Lab | A value range for each company, and a lab to test your own assumptions. |

### AI Screener (in the first release)

Start with what you already know: the industry you work in, the products you buy, the businesses in your city. Tell the AI Screener in your own words. It turns that into filters you can see and change, checks every company against them, and tells you which ones it dropped and why. Valarth screens 7,362 Indian stocks.

### Before the Bell

While the market sleeps, Valarth reads regulator notices, company filings and price moves, then writes a short edition. Each note says who gains, who loses, how sure it is and where it came from. Switch on "My portfolio" and it shows only what touches you.

### Forensic scan

Valarth reads annual reports line by line and runs the checks forensic accountants use: whether profit turns into cash, how fast customers pay, promoter pledges, auditor exits, related-party deals, and the Beneish and Altman models.

### Portfolio X-ray

Import your Consolidated Account Statement (CAS) and Valarth brings stocks, mutual funds and NPS from every broker into one view: your real return, where your money is concentrated, and a review of what needs attention. Connect Gmail and new statements come in on their own. Portfolio X-ray is optional.

### Valuation reports & Lab (after launch)

Valarth picks the valuation methods that suit the business, weights them into one range, and sets today's price against it. Then the Lab hands you the assumptions. Move them and watch the value change, with every step of the maths on show. Every method comes from published work, and Valarth shows whose idea it is while a valuation runs.

### Screener

When you want precision, the full screener is there: 196 filters across valuation, profitability, growth, balance sheet, cash flow, ownership, dividends, forensic scores and price history. Start from a ready-made screen and change anything.

## Languages

Valuation reports are being built in English, Hindi and Marathi, with more Indian languages planned. Good research should not depend on reading English.

## Data: it reads the source

Every figure in Valarth carries the date it was last updated and the filing it came from.

- **Annual reports, parsed:** financial statements come in through an XBRL parser, so the numbers are the company's own, line for line.
- **Presentations, read:** investor presentations are read by a multimodal model that understands their charts and tables, not just the text.
- **Claims, quoted:** business model cards quote the annual report for every claim and give the page it came from. A claim that fails the check is left out.

Sources: company filings with the exchanges, annual reports in XBRL format, investor presentations, shareholding and pledge disclosures, and daily exchange price files.
